Yes, Luna Park have made the decision to retain a capacity limit to maximize guest experience while you visit us.
YES!!! Luna Park’s capacity is restricted and we strongly recommend that you book your tickets before coming to the Park. Booking your ticket before you come to the Park guarantees entry. Walk up entry to the Park will only be permitted if our capacity allows walk up entry on the day. Avoid disappointment and book your tickets before coming.
Luna Park will comply with all the current COVID-19 Health Order restrictions, but it is also the responsibility of our guests to comply with those restrictions. Please be patient, respectful and courteous with our staff as we comply with all requirements.
Luna Park has returned to standard operation of all of our attractions.
Luna Park always reserves the right to close any ride down at any time as per our normal terms and conditions.

If your child looks 18 years or older but is in fact under 18, we recommend they bring a proof of age card.
In line with Government Regulations contact tracing was required for all guests entering Luna Park. Contact Tracing is handled by the official Victorian Government QR Code Service and all guest information submitted for Contact Tracing purposes is held by the Victorian Government as per the Service Victoria Privacy and Security Policy.
Any guest information previously collected and held for contact tracing purposes will be held for 28 days in case COVID-19 infection.
Our normal privacy policy applies in all other circumstances.
You are unable to swap an existing ticket to another date using our online system.
If you’ve been unwell and were unable to visit the Park on the date of your booking a date change can be requested.
To initiate a date change please email your ticket confirmation and the new date you would like to visit to “[email protected]” and we’ll do our best to accommodate a single change.
Any guests who is required to isolate due to COVID19 may reschedule their ticket or tickets or receive a refund. A $2 administration fee per ticket will apply for all refunds.
We have increased cleaning and sanitising procedures to ensure the highest of hygiene protocols are met. This includes a ‘sanitise before you ride’ policy with sanitiser provided at each ride and various locations around the park.
While restrictions have eased we are still recommending all visitors observe the advice of the Chief Health Officer to:
- keep their distance of 1.5 metres,
- practice appropriate personal hygiene procedures,
- wear a mask when social distancing is not possible

As we head into Winter we request that all guests be mindful if they have symptoms of cold or flu. Guests must not attend if they are COVID-19 positive.
Luna Park are committed to keeping you healthy and safe, but we cannot guarantee you will not be exposed to COVID-19.
To assist in your protection we recommend that you:
- Wash your hands often and avoid touching your face,
- Maintain your distance from others,
- Wear a mask when social distancing is not possible,
- Avoid touching surfaces wherever possible,
- When coughing or sneezing, cover your mouth and nose with a flexed elbow or tissue. Throw tissue into a trash receptacle after use.
