No. As we are managing visitor numbers and overall Park capacity, if a guest chooses to leave the Park, they may not return on that day.
Some rides may not be available due to physical distancing requirements or planned maintenance. Any ride cancellations will be displayed at our Ticket Box on entry.
All our rides have height, physical and medical restrictions. These restrictions are in place to maximise your enjoyment and keep you safe. Do not ride if you have heart problems, high blood pressure, back or neck injuries, casts, moon boots or injured bones, or if you have had recent surgery or are pregnant. We recommend you don’t bring valuables to the Park as you cannot take loose items, use cameras or mobile phones on rides. There are some security lockers available for hire by the hour or for a full day, however we encourage guests to leave large bags and items at home. Lockers are $10 or $15 for the day and take card only. They are located near the Twin Dragon ride and next to the Scenic Railway.
If it rains the fun will go on! However, some rides may close due to weather conditions. Guests accept the risk that weather they consider unsatisfactory may occur during the session for which they have purchased tickets.
We have PayPass and EFTPOS facilities at the Ticket Box that can be used to purchase tickets to enter Luna Park. In addition, we also have PayPass and EFTPOS facilities at most cashiers throughout the Park, as well as an ATM onsite for cash withdrawals. Most credit and EFTPOS cards are accepted (except DINERS).
There is wheelchair access to the grounds of Luna Park. We also have wheelchair access toilets available. Guests in wheelchairs are permitted to ride on all attractions at Luna Park except the Scenic Railway. However, various health and safety requirements do apply to wheelchair guests so it’s always best to check with staff before your visit.

All of Luna Park’s rides are very safe. All rides are constantly tested and maintained and all rides have active safety features to secure you while you are on the ride.
There are several rides available for children under 100cm in height. On some of these rides, children must be accompanied by a ticket holding adult. Check out our rides here https://lunapark.com.au/rides-attractions/

Rain: While it is raining the Scenic Railway will close, and some other rides may also be affected. If the weather improves and the rain stops, rides will reopen when safe. Many of our rides can run in the rain so bring a rain jacket!
Extreme Stormy Weather: If the weather is particularly miserable (we all know how Melbourne can be sometimes!) Luna Park may close earlier than advertised on our website, but we always prepare to open. We’ll do our best to stay open for as long as possible. The Scenic Railway does not run in the rain.
Extreme Hot Weather: If the weather is very hot, the rides in direct sun light may become too hot to sit on. Luna Park may close some rides for a short period of time to cool down.
High and strong winds: This affects our taller rides and can result in closures until the winds subside. Debris can be carried high and a possible danger to our guest.
Ride Maintenance: To keep our rides performing at their best, our rides are subject to periods of routine maintenance.
