Returning this Halloween… Tame by day, terrifying by night, Melbourne’s biggest costume party is back for double the screams.
Luna Dark 2023: Behind The Screams will show you a side to Luna Park you never knew existed. Hosted over 5 terrifying nights, and 2 (youngster-friendly) days this October. Night sessions feature two brand new, spine-tingling attractions, SFX Make- Up, an AR Photo Booth, Live Music, Roving ghosts and ghouls, plenty of tricks and treats, PLUS the ultimate VIP CarnEvil Halloween Party.
Day sessions offer little monsters a chance to dress up in their Halloween costumes, get their face painted, meet the Wizz Fizz monsters and get FREE treats (without the tricks). Gather your ghouls, get your costumes ready, and join us for a seriously spooky Behind the Screams experience.

Come dark, up the ante and step through the mouth of Mr Moon for a night of terrors Luna Dark Night Sessions will run across 5 terrifying nights this year from Fri 27th, Sat 28th, Sun 29th, Mon 30th and, the REAL day ‘All Hallows Eve’, Tuesday 31st of October.

As darkness descends this Halloween prepare to enter the eerie forbidden back corners of Luna Park, where creepy clowns, discarded props, and forgotten old dolls awaken to unleash their twisted terrorising presence on all who dare enter. Navigate through the chilling corridors, where fear lurks around every corner, and embark on a haunting experience that will leave you trembling with terror. *Night Attraction Only*

Get set to SCREAM on all of Luna Park’s favorite rides – during the day and by dark in the night! Choose your haunted 110 year old horse on The Grand Carousel, prepare for scares on classic Ghost Train, brave the thrill rides if you dare spinning and squealing on the Enterprise and dipping and dropping on the Great Scenic Railway, Speedy Beetle and more.
Day Time Kids Sessions
Make the kids scream with delight with the roaming Wizz Fizz Monsters, monster-themed Games Huts and thrilling rides. There’s plenty of sherbet treats to be won and Fangtastic Photo Ops with youngster-friendly ghosts and ghouls around the park. Daytime sessions run from 11am-5pm and are suitable for young monsters.
