SPIN AND GRIN RE-OPENING TICKET TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PURCHASE AND ENTRY

  1. These terms and conditions apply to admission to ‘Spin & Grin Re-Opening Sessions’ as COVID-19 restrictions allow Luna Park Melbourne to trade under strict Health Department guidance, commencing 27 June 2020.
  2. Guest attendance at these fully ticketed sessions will be managed by applying capacity controls to the number of tickets sold.
  3. Everyone must have an online ticket to visit.
  4. Tickets for ‘Spin & Grin Re-Opening Sessions’ can only be purchased online via www.lunapark.com.au and will be sent electronically to the email address nominated at the time of purchase. On-site sales at our ticket box will not be available.
  5. Annual Pass holders must also pre-book a ticket for Spin & Grin Sessions by submitting an online request at https://lunapark.com.au/pre-purchased-tickets/ or by calling our guest relations office on (03) 9525 5033. Please allow at least 2 business days’ notice when booking your desired session. These tickets will be subject to availability and we cannot guarantee every session will be available. Annual Passes that were valid at our time of closure (13 March 2020) will have their expiry date extended by 6 months.
  6. Gift Card holders wishing to purchase Spin & Grin Session tickets using their card cannot do so online. Please submit an online request at https://lunapark.com.au/pre-purchased-tickets/ or call our guest relations office on (03) 9525 5033. Please allow at least 2 business days’ notice when booking your desired session. These tickets will be subject to availability and we cannot guarantee every session will be available.   7. Guests wishing to visit with a carer holding a Companion Card or We Care Card please submit an online request at https://lunapark.com.au/pre-purchased-tickets/ or call our guest relations office on (03) 9525 5033. Please allow at least 2 business days’ notice when booking your desired session. These tickets will be subject to availability and we cannot guarantee every session will be available.
  8. Guests holding pre-purchased Adult, Child or Toddler unlimited ride tickets, or pre-purchased promotional tickets, ie. Summer Nights Special may exchange these for session tickets but cannot do so online. Please submit an online request at https://lunapark.com.au/pre-purchased-tickets/ or call our guest relations office on (03) 9525 5033. Please allow at least 2 business days’ notice when booking your desired session. These tickets will be subject to availability and we cannot guarantee every session will be available. Alternatively, we will extend the validity date of pre-purchased tickets so they can be redeemed when normal trading recommences.
  9. We sincerely regret that while we are running shorter session times with significantly discounted tickets (prior to the resumption of normal trading hours and ticket prices), guest will be unable to redeem Promotional discount coupons or pre-purchased discount tickets including but not limited to Entertainment Book, Frequent Values, RACV, APOD, Small Ideas, Little Finders, Funly, or those coupons appearing in tourism publications. We will assess this regularly with a view to accepting promotional discounts again when we can increase guest numbers and resume normal trading hours.
  10. A maximum of 10 (ten) Spin & Grin Session tickets may be purchased in one transaction.
  11. Purchasers must enter their full name, email address, street address and contact phone number as part of the purchase process.
  12. Purchasers must also enter the name(s) and contact phone number(s) for all guests included in their booking who will attend the session(s) booked. This is a requirement of COVID-19 protocols.
  13. In the event that COVID 19 infection contact tracing is required, contact details for guests attending ‘Spin & Grin Re-Opening Sessions’ must be held for 56 days. Our normal privacy policy applies otherwise.
  14. Electronic ticket with barcode(s) must be presented at the Ticket Box, either printed or on a mobile device to gain entry.
  15. Tickets may be transferred to another session if for example, a guest is unwell and cannot attend. A ‘one occasion’ transfer is permitted up to two weeks from purchase date, subject to availability. The ticket holder should call our guest relations office on (03) 9525 5033 to arrange a change of session time. Unfortunately, we cannot make booking changes at the Ticket Box.
  16. Tickets will not be refunded after purchase. They must be redeemed for the session time and day booked and cannot be redeemed on an alternative date, subject to condition (15.) above. Lost, stolen, damaged, or defaced tickets will not be replaced. Tickets cannot be transferred to another person after purchase under any circumstances.
  17. No other discount vouchers or coupons may be applied to ‘Spin & Grin Re-Opening Session’ tickets.
  18. There are no pass-outs for these sessions.
  19. It is a condition of entry that each ticket holder observe the advice of the Chief Health Officer to keep their distance of 1.5 meters unless with a member of their family group and as indicated by signs and queue stickers, and practice appropriate personal hygiene procedures.
  20. Guests must not attend if they are COVID-19 positive or displaying flu like symptoms. We are committed to keeping you healthy and safe, but we cannot guarantee you will not be exposed to COVID19. We rely on you to protect yourself and to:
    1. Wash your hands often and avoid touching your face
    2. Maintain your distance from others
    3. Avoid touching surfaces wherever possible
    4. If you’re sick, please don’t come to Luna Park.
    5. If you see anyone not adhering to these guidelines, or if you have any concerns, please see a staff member
    6. When coughing or sneezing, cover your mouth and nose with a flexed elbow or tissue. Throw tissue into a trash receptacle after use.
  21. Guests should reconsider attending if you are:
      1. aged over 70
      2. aged over 65 with a material medical condition
      3. Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander aged over 50 with a material medical condition
      4. people with material medical conditions
      1. people who are immunocompromised
  22. Vulnerable guests who are uncomfortable attending the premises are advised to take their own additional safety precautions and are notified that Luna Park cannot guarantee their safety.
  23. Health checks may be conducted prior to Park entry being allowed.
  24. Luna Park Melbourne Pty Ltd reserves the right to refuse entry to any ticket holders including those displaying flu like symptoms, visitors who have been in close contact with a person who is COVID-19 positive, or anyone who has travelled overseas or to a COVID-19 hotspot in the past 14 days.
  25. Tickets can be purchased through lunapark.com.au by using a Visa, Amex or Master Credit Card. Your credit card will be debited at the time of ordering.
  26. All credit card purchases are PCI compliant.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • Guests accept the risk that weather they consider unsatisfactory may occur during the session for which they have purchased tickets.
  • Luna Park Melbourne reserves the right to add, withdraw or substitute rides and attractions or vary advertised programs, prices, and capacity at any time without notification.
  • Purchase of an online ticket acknowledges that the purchaser has read and accepted these terms and conditions.
