Scream if you Love Summer
Melbourne’s Luna Park is the place to be these summer school holidays
Summer has officially arrived and Luna Park is gearing up for a frightfully fantastic time these summer school holidays, so get yourself down to Melbourne’s most loved amusement park.
Making a fearsome comeback, Circus of Screams will be the hottest attraction at Luna Park this summer. Throughout the school holidays from 17th December 2016 until 29th January 2017, the park will be sizzling with entertainment for everyone to enjoy.
Visitors will don their Circus of Screams 3D glasses and bravely walk through a confusing visual world, where walls and floors come towards them from all directions. Navigating their way through a series of dark rooms, they will be faced with circus escapees who are now on the loose. Frights and screams will be in abundance as hidden surprises appear from nowhere. Just when you feel like you can’t take any more, the spinning dark tunnel will throw everyone off balance and disorientate the senses even more!
Not forgetting the smaller ones, Cars 4 Kids (mini-dodgems) will also be around for summer, giving all the little kids the chance to get behind the wheel and practice their driving skills.
Or maybe you fancy jumping aboard the Rockin’ Tug – a ride for all the family to enjoy that simulates the reeling, dipping and twirling fun of a tugboat on choppy waters. You’re sure to have a rocking time!
Making special appearances on weekends throughout January, Tubby the Robot and his pet fish, Flapper – an animatronic puppet – will have you giggling at their funny jokes! And if Flapper stays true to his name, Tubby can’t guarantee that you won’t get wet!
The Giant Seagulls will also be causing havoc as they poke their beaks into everything they can find – hold onto your chips if you don’t want to share them!
Throughout the school summer holidays (17th December – 29th January) families can take advantage of Luna Park’s Family Pass for just $149.95, making it even more affordable for families to enjoy everything that the park has to offer, including unlimited rides all day long.
Don’t forget to upload your fun snaps and videos to Luna Live, Luna Park’s new social media channel, using the #lunalive.
Tubby the Robot
Everyone’s shiny metal friend is back at Luna Park this summer. It’s Tubby the Robot, made from tubs and other recycled bits with a heart of gold and a personality to match. Tubby will be cruising around the Park for you to talk to.

Hidden characters appear from nowhere to chase and frighten guests while threatening sounds and sound effects follow them through a series of curtains and doors that disorientate the senses even further.
